Through my conservative leadership, we’ve balanced the County budget every year. We’ve cut taxes. We’re retired nearly twenty-five million dollars of debt. We’ve added public resources that improve the lives of all citizens. We’ve added thousands of jobs over the last few years and have had the lowest unemployment rate in the state, all because we’ve created a community where people want to live, work and play.
Accomplishments from my current term as your Commissioner:
Updated the County’s short-term rental ordinance.
Deployed body cameras to the front line deputies of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
Completed the sewer extension on State Route 365 to Highway 52.
Modernized crime analysis through the new records management system at the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
Launched a countywide survey to garner citizen input on the County’s communication methods.
Placed increased focus on public safety, recreation, infrastructure planning and budgeting.
Improvement in public services including the renovation and expansion of the Hall County Public Library.
While I’ve been serving as Your Commissioner, Hall County has:
